Hong Kong

It’s about the hustle and bustle of the city.

There’s so much to see within the 1,100 kilometer radius that 7 million people call home. Where shops, restaurants, parks, monuments, markets and museums come to life before you. The sight, taste, smell and touch of each street become your adventure as you take the journey as one.

More than a memory

Soulmates are the people who bring out the best in you. To bring your life to life, to share your deepest longings and sense of direction.

He makes it My September. Each year, it's my time of the year.

One minute after midnight on 9/4 Gerardo came running out of his room to wish me a Happy Birthday only he wasn't empty handed as expected. (going to Hong Kong was plenty)
With two cards in hand and a small maroon box in the other I quickly straighted out and stretched a smile ear to ear. Tears rapidly rolled down my face.

"Thank you, I love you. Everything is perfect."

I got a set of new diamonds and a new Burberry purse and wallet!

He makes me speechless......

It's official, I'm 25.

With less than 5 hours of sleep I got up to finish our last minute packing and start preparing Jake for our departure. Boy, she didn't take it well. Correction; neither did Gerardo and I. Before we even left the island we both turned to each other simultaneously and said "what do you think she's doing now?" We’re pretty pathetic.

We purposely requested to land in Taipei as a layover instead of booking a direct flight. [Simply for the DFS shopping] We didn’t find anything……

We just ate and jumped on another flight to our destination.

Once we landed in Hong Kong my exhaustion lifted to anticipation. The airport itself is mind-blowing. Once we got to our hotel we quickly dropped off our bags and walked right back out to the city. Gerardo already had a mission, sushi! As mentioned in a previous entry his objective is to try sushi in every country that we go to. So, that’s what we did.

We walked for what felt like 15 miles. Now, image that in flip flops. Yeah, it hurts. We ended our night at Lacoste; we both got shirts.

So far 25 isn't so bad.....

Wow.

I have such remarkable, trustworthy, comical, beautiful friends. You know, those who know the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten all the words. Yes those.

What an amazing day; it was flawless. The smiles, laughs, rose petals, balloons, flowers, cards, poem, words, hugs, cake and incredible food.

Thank you ladies for such a fantastic day. I'm truly blessed to have you as a friend.

Fountain of Youth

3 more days.....

25 is creeping up quite quickly.

[Oddly] I still don't look a day over 18. Perhaps its my daily water drinking, vitamin taking, eye cream lathering routine I've been doing since I was 16. Humm. That's a thought.

Nah, there is a fountion of youth; its your heart, your mind, your talents and the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of the people you love. I'm happy to report that my inner child[ness] is still ageless.

I am the fountion of youth. Evidently I don't age.
