New Year Resolutions

I vow to: 

Plan new adventures for three day weekends.

Find my signature scent. Something I can wear everyday, rain or shine, cold or hot.

Have better posture. Hence, get back in the grove of a yoga routine.

Exfoliate my entire body at least once a week.

Find the perfect red lipstick. I think it'll give me an extra dose of sassiness.

Experiment with styles (only within privacy of my home) that I never thought I could pull off.

Sleep on a satin pillowcase to protect my hair.

Love my natural hair texture.

Take a multivitamin every day. Healthy body, healthy life.

 Smile.

Geez, its been months. Gomennasai.  I have to admit though, I got sucked into the Intstagr.am app for iPhone. It's just so easy. Instant. Check out my insta.pics if you have an iPhone. [DomiValdez]

I went shopping and found these A.DORABLE coffee sleeves from Ginkgo & Sakura. I'm obsessed with them so I bought two. Way.To.Cute. 

'Keep your fingers comfy while drinking a hot or cold beverage'

 I got a Harajuku print as my first pick. If you don't know what Harajuku is, it's a district in Tokyo. Its also a term to describe a type of girl within this district. 'Harajuku girls'. Please, please Google it. 

My second print is more traditional, I chose a kokeshi print. These are Japanese wooden dolls.

I can't wait to put these two prints to use in England. You already know my heart is in Japan. Thank you Ginkgo & Sakura for these coffee sleeves.

Morning Bliss [Berry Delicious]

Berry Love.

I tweeted yesterday our love for smoothies, what can I say--we can't get enough.

Berrylicious Smoothie

1/2 cup whole or soy milk

1 cup frozen *organic* berries (I used Cascadian Farm Harvest Berries antioxidant blend)

1 organic banana (I used Dole organics)

1 8oz container greek nonfat yogurt (I used blueberry)

1 tablespoon honey to sweeten (optional)

Place ingredients in blender and blend on high until smooth. You may need to add more milk. Pour in a glass, and enjoy a taste of mid morning bliss.
